Rick Pier O’Neil started as a DJ in a French club at 14 years old. Addicted to sound techniques, he became a sound engineer and created his first studio by 16.
He started producing his first titles like Sequential, Chocho Loco, Tribal Nation, In de Ghetto, which quickly took him to the top of the French charts. Suddenly he started working with major labels like Sony Music, Universal, Motowna, Polygram as a remixer for Kool and The Gang and Stevie Wonder…
With the emergence of the french house music movement, he set foot overseas and went on to the American music scene, his 1st track went up to position 5th in the famous billboard chart
The title “I don’t want nobody” created for Cheri Amore (Vocalist today of Armin Van Buuren’s tracks) became a great success in most European countries.as well as in the US, was listed in the US Billboard charts and was played and recognized by the greatest DJs around the world at the time (2000)
Excited by his American experience, he decided to create his own music label focused on more progressive and tribal Underground dark tones, this was a risky choice on his career , but his passion for creativity was always stronger
RPO Records and GARBAGE Records will soon be performed and playlisted by big DJs such as Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Boy George,Anthony Papa, Steve Lawler ..and more . His productions were compiled from the four corners of the globe on the best CDs like Global Underground, Amnesia and Matinee …
Then he moved to Barcelona, in the meanwhile he was already performing as DJ in the best clubs around the world as well as producing a lot of music every time, he was resident of the Amnesia France Tour and one of the firsts residents of the legendary internet radio station
Frisky Radio, and a few years later he moved to México where he still lives
